While Samsung has not explicitly named the devices, all signs point to the Galaxy S25 FE being this new S25 model. On the tablet side, we expect the long-rumored Galaxy Tab S11 series to make its debut. All of these products have been the subject of numerous leaks over the past few weeks, making this more a confirmation than a surprise.
Expect the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 to make their debut
Samsung is putting Galaxy AI at the center of its announcement, but it remains unclear whether the company will roll out brand new AI features or simply highlight existing capabilities already available on devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and other S25 models. Samsung may just be highlighting how the new tablets and phones work smoothly with the rest of the Galaxy ecosystem.
One thing that is certain is software. Both the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. That means the S25 FE will launch with the latest software ahead of other Galaxy S25 devices, which are still on One UI 7 and will get the One UI 8 update in September following the public beta testing phase.
On the hardware side, one common theme will be the absence of a Snapdragon chip. Benchmarks show the Galaxy S25 FE will use Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor, while the Tab S11 lineup will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400.
The Galaxy Event will be streamed live on Samsung.com and the company’s YouTube channel starting 11:30 AM CEST (9:30 AM GMT / 2:30 AM PT / 3:00 PM IST) on Thursday, September 4. We’ll have full coverage of the announcements as they happen, so stay tuned.
