Last month,Samsungoffered the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta program. Now, the brand has released the second beta version of the new software for thetwophones.
As usual,Samsung’s home country, South Korea, is the first to get it. The updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 carrying the second One UI 8.5 beta build have firmware versions ending withZZD3(viaTarun Vats).
The second beta version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 brings six changes, and all of them are bug fixes. You can check out the official changelog below (translated from Korean to English).
- Fixed an issue where multipack images could not be deleted from the cover screen.
- Fixed an issue where the background appeared black when opening a folder.
- Improved heating phenomenon when running games
- Fixed an issue where the background appeared black after rebooting the device following lock screen settings.
- Fixed an issue where the top bar did not disappear while using the app.
- Fixed phone screen cracking issue
To get the update, go toSettings > Software update > Download and install. Note that it is available only for devices enrolled in the One UI 8.5 beta program.
