Following both the release and re-release of the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, Samsung is rolling it out to the Fan Edition model in the USA. Galaxy S24 FE owners on select networks and those who are using the unlocked variant can now download the latest Android and One UI update on their phones.
Galaxy S24 FE One UI 7 rollout beginning to expand
It remains to be seen if the update will be available for all carrier-locked variants before the end of the month. We’re leaning towards the possibility of some users having to wait until May, as Samsung has been rather inconsistent with the One UI 7 rollout and US carriers are not always quick to certify new updates.
When the update goes live for your Galaxy S24 FE, you will be able to download it from the phone’s Settings » Software update menu. Your phone gets all of the same features with One UI 7 as the other S24 models, including powerful AI features like Audio Eraser. You can find the full changelog here.
The Galaxy S24 FE has yet to receive the update in most markets other than Korea and the USA, but we expect the situation to change rapidly as Samsung has promised to bring One UI 7 to the entire S24 lineup in April.
